The Bridgewater Hospital Manchester

We have recently completed the installation of a triple operating theatre suite and new state of the art IVF Facility.

We were employed as subcontractor by Brighouse Construction on this design and build contract.  The project team included renowned names in healthcare construction including Roger Smith (Project Manager), Jonathan Hart (Architect) and Roger Bullock (Consulting Engineer)

The new facilities were provided for this new private hospital which will offer diagnostic, therapeutic, interventional and endoscopic services throughout the Manchester area.

The building was water tight shell ready to receive our turnkey package including all mechanical and electrical services and modular building works.

Within the scheme are three state of the art operating theatre suites, the main suite incorporating digital imaging systems to allow the surgeons to transfer live images to various areas within the building.  We worked with Linvatec Conmed to incorporate this system into the project.

In addition to the theatre suites, a clean room facility was installed.  This was only the second facility of its type to comply with new requirements and standards.  This room achieves Class B criteria.

The first operations were performed in June 2006 and the users and design team are delighted with the final product and our efforts to achieve their tight schedule to completion
