Ysbyty Glan Clwyd Award

The re-modernisation of Ysbyty Glan Clwyd has won the Best Public Service Building award in the annual North Wales Building Excellence Awards. These awards recognise any new building used for health, leisure and tourism to name a few. Upon the hospital’s success, they have been shortlisted for Best Public Service Building in the national awards ceremony.

As part of Betsi Cadwaladwr University Health Board’s £90 million refurbishment and remodelling project, MTX were awarded the contract to deliver a state of the art modular mortuary facility to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in June 2012. Working for main contractor Laing O’Rourke, this project followed a number of successful contracts MTX completed for the hospital.
