On behalf of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, Johnson & Johnson had sights for a new orthopaedic operating theatre to be constructed on the Guy’s Hospital site. This would relieve some of the pressure off the hospital’s existing theatre department.
Due to the busy and congested streets of London and the 24 hour nature of the hospital, the building was delivered out of normal working hours and all 18 volumetric units were successfully installed over just 1 weekend.
