MTX are delighted to have been appointed main contractor to deliver a Modular Respiratory Biomedical Research Unit for the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust at their Glenfield Hospital site.
The current scheme is based upon a 980m² building, complete with link way to the existing hospital street, situated over two storeys. The building is fully compliant with the latest Building Regulations and is also designed with the future in mind. This is in specific reference to the foundations, the building structure, the fire exit, the central stairwell, the lift and all plant items both mechanically and electrically. MTX are responsible for a full turnkey installation on the scheme working through the winter with an anticipated completion date of early March 2013.
