After a competitive tender issued to approximately 7 different contractors, MTX prevailed as the successful bidder instructed to deliver a 635m² Accident and Emergency extension at Stoke Mandeville Hospital for Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.
As part of extensive re-development works being undertaken by BAM Construction at Aintree hospital, MTX secured the contract to provide a new modular seminar suite on the site.

Design and Build contract for Mersey Care NHS Trust
MTX are delighted to have been awarded the £800,000 design and build contract to construct a new two storey modular office block for Scott Clinic, part of the Mersey Care NHS Trust.
Awarded on 5th August and with a scheduled start date of 27th September, MTX have been contracted to deliver a full turn key package, which includes mechanical and electrical services, by January 2011.
As part of the contract, MTX will also deliver a new temporary car park providing an additional 28 parking spaces, relocate an oil tank enclosure and provide a new generator fuel tank along with all the associated external works and services. In addition to this, MTX are also installing a new entrance for the facility and new pedestrian pathway which will provide access to and from the new car park area.
This new office block is being built as a step down facility to accommodate projected increases in capacity to the current Scott Clinic and should help with plans for refurbishment work at the hospital in the future.
